We strive to create a comfortable environment for worship with music regardless of the level of your public worship experience. CFC's music ministry is not composed of only one style of musical praise or worship, but encompasses as broad a stroke as the difference in our various natures, styles of worship, musical taste, backgrounds, level of education, personal preferences, and life experiences. We welcome and celebrate the diversity of all backgrounds and worship style.
What To Expect During Praise & Worship
One thing you'll hear our worship leader, Courtney, say is "here at CFC we are a Holy Spirit led church. We do as the Holy Spirit leads us to do. We clap, we raise our hands, we dance in the Lord. And the altar is ALWAYS OPEN! Sometimes we come to the altar to lay something down, other times we come to the altar to get closer to God. No matter the reason, if you feel the tug to go to the altar, go!" We want you to worship freely. We want you to experience God like you've never experienced Him before. We're not here to entertain you - We're here to help usher in the Holy Spirit and help you to prepare your heart for the message. We never quench the Holy Spirit!
Can I Join The Worship Team?
We look forward to adding to our worship team. We are always looking for instrumentalists and vocalists to serve on our team. With that said, we do not take worship lightly. Praise and Worship is a ministry and love offering that we present to God. Our worship ushers in the Holy Spirit and we do our very best to protect the anointing on our team.
We understand that everybody has different musical abilities and backgrounds. While a pure and willing heart to serve God is the most important requirement for joining our worship team, a musical gifting and a calling to the worship ministry are also very important.
We require that anyone who joins the CFC Worship Team be fully committed to God and to CFC. You must have the same values and beliefs that our church has adopted, as well - this is important to remain in one mind, one accord.
Our team is expected to follow all expectations and guidelines outlined in our Worship Team guidelines. Our team is also required to be present for all practices. If you're unable to commit fully to CFC you are still able to share your musical gifting / talent every 3rd Wednesday of the Month for Talent & Testimony night.
